The Rally Point began as a quiet conversation at Cross Bank Farm, the kind that only really happens when someone finally stops moving after decades of service.
We’re not building a clinic and we’re not trying to replace professional support.
And we’re definitely not here to tell anyone how to “fix” themselves.
We’re building a place where you can simply turn up and be.
A place where you can gather eggs from the hens, have a scratch with the pigs, help with fencing, plant something in the soil, work on small jobs around the farm or just sit with a brew.
A place where the air is clear, the work is honest and no one minds
what you’re carrying, we just appreciate you being here.
The Rally Point is built on the same principles that the Armed Forces run on:
purpose, routine, teamwork, humour, graft & looking out for each other but here, there is no rank & no judgment.
For serving soldiers who feel themselves slipping and for veterans who feel unanchored,
we want The Rally Point to be exactly what it’s name suggests; a place to gather, regroup and rest.
Steady ground on which to pause, before moving forward again.
